WELCOME

A Walk Among My Demons

I took a walk in a very thick forest
I needed a break, I was burned out
As I reached a remote barren area
I heard a loud noise and got curious
I wanted to know what was it about
I looked up in the sky and realized that giant, bat like wings had just stolen the light from the sun
I immediately knew my fate couldn't be changed nor outrun
As I got closer to my destination
I noticed a bunch of thick velvet drapes
Amidst the dead leaves on a forgotten fallen headstone there was a big beautiful red apple and, just as inviting,
ripened juicy grapes
I took a bite out of the red fruit
As recommended by these weird
backward talking sneaky snakes
I wrapped my now shivering body with
one of the drapes like it was a
magical cloak
It seemed that no one could tell
I was there feeling like dying on
a decaying oak
For a moment that seemed like eternity
I could not see or talk, I was crawling
Throughout this journey I couldn't believe
What I was hearing
Like a three headed wolf howling
Which morphed into
A fastidious winter bane
an unwanted companion
Much like an injured old man
unseparable from his walking cane
My thoughts suddenly became
a dark and heavy burden
Until I left Samael miserably drab dominion
And entered his wife Lilith colorful
And lustful garden
Someone called me by her name
And since then, I have never
ever been the same
