Before I go
Before I go
I just want you to know
I will always be where
the north winds blow
the green trees whisper
the whitest snow falls
and icy blue rivers flow
Before I go
Hold my hand
One last time
and don't let go
Until the very end
Before I go
I just want you to know
I will always be where
the north winds blow
the green trees whisper
the whitest snow falls
and icy blue rivers flow
Before I go
Hold my hand
One last time
and don't let go
Until the very end
Dear Nadine, I am OK. Thank you.
This poem was inspired by I a Judas Priest song that I heard on that morning. I was feeling lonely and when I do I think about all the things I think I have failed or failed in my life.
My poems attempt and usually are combining emotions, feelings and experiences into one. In this case I was trying to envision myself saying goodbye to the ones I love and failed at the same time. But also to tell them where to find me and find themselves if they were lost or lonely. A desperate feeling on my part to wanting to give back what I failed to give: my presence my being with them
Gaby
I like reading your poetry, but I can’t help being worried by the undertone of this text.
Please tell, Gaby, are you okay? ❤️
