Ephimera
Ephimera
Queen of solitude
Ruler of the woodlands
Among the whitest birches
And pillars of poplars
The Empress of loneliness
At home among the pines
The Harlot of the hemlocks
The Druidess of
The firs and the oaks
Her Heart carved from stone
Her eyes, crystal clear
Colder than glaciers ice
Beware her touch
beware the wild
When she casts her spells
Be forwarned and
blessed be the wisemen
Quick to come and
quicker to go
She keeps low
Bedding in the ferns
Until darkness comes
When she begins to dance
with the crows
