As more towns burn
And other countries
Are being War-torn 
I am counting my luck
Because of when and 
where I was born
I am just a witness
Watching souls drift away 
From the debris
The melting steel
The crumbling concrete 
and the thousands bricks
While ashes and dust rise
Above the crimson waters
Of the river Styx
Wordless in disbelief
I've seen this before
Death coming and going
Like a thief
Another heavy toll
Another explosion
I'm getting cold
We will never learn
We must believe 
What we are told
We answer the call
Guiding a million dollar drone
Then pushing a button
To watch another palace fall
Violence is simple and swift
The devil most formidable gift
My body is rigid 
Thinking I'm still standing tall
But my heart is broken
Hiding silent,
