Persistence

Sitting by my window
Seeking warmth from the sun
Among the many thoughts
A persistent one
What will it be like?
Will it be a surge or a spike?
Clouds are forming in the sky
Rain may be coming
Are those signs from above?
Or, just time passing me by?
