Do you know how it feels 
To live in that space 
in between
When all you hear
Is not what you believe in
When no one cares
If you are neither here nor there
With nothing else to share
When you are up
And others bring you down
Have you ever felt
your heartbeat so loud
That you hold your breath
Afraid to make a sound
When insults abound
And the pain takes you
down to the ground
Do you know how it is
When you got this
But you don't have that
When you got that
And you definitely
don't have this
And all that you have left
Is to live 
In that space in between
