I wish we were sitting 
by the water
Listening to old songs
Of peace and not war
I wish we were
Around the fire pit 
Watching the stars
In the sky up above
And not another news
With a death toll
I wish we could 
Replace all the hate
With empathy and love 
Before it's too late
