Towards The Light
It's late, I'm laying down in the dark
Imagining a world burnt by the sun
Where all the vegetation is gone
All water sources dried out
craters and cracks in the soil
Lakes and rivers brought to
an imnediate, irreversible boil
Glaciers once perennially ice blue
Now stains of a dark orange hue
All the mountains and all the hills
Erased and turned into deserts
Wastelands of sand and stones
Humans and animals with no flesh
no blood, just pillars of charred bones
I close my eyes holding on to my bed
There's a huge army of angels in black
And one of demons opposing in red
I better stand up and join in the fight
Someone or something is whispering
That's the only way towards the light
Imagining a world burnt by the sun
Where all the vegetation is gone
All water sources dried out
craters and cracks in the soil
Lakes and rivers brought to
an imnediate, irreversible boil
Glaciers once perennially ice blue
Now stains of a dark orange hue
All the mountains and all the hills
Erased and turned into deserts
Wastelands of sand and stones
Humans and animals with no flesh
no blood, just pillars of charred bones
I close my eyes holding on to my bed
There's a huge army of angels in black
And one of demons opposing in red
I better stand up and join in the fight
Someone or something is whispering
That's the only way towards the light
